Since I happened to wake up early this morning, I decided to finally get back on the exercise horse and try to lose some of this weight I've gained back in the past several months. Weighing my self today and seeing how much I've added on was a big motivator as well. Ugh. Awful! I haven't weighed this much in over a year! But then, I haven't had much time to really take care of myself either with my RL in such turmoil. However, things are slowing down (I hope! *knocks on wood*) and I decided April would be the month I get back to walking and eating better again. Naturally, for my first walk the weather was cold (40s), the wind was blowing, and it was even sprinkling a bit. I took the big loop and then a variation of the medium loop through our neighborhood. I wasn't going to walk that far at first, but just one big loop didn't seem like enough, even though I'm trying to ease back into this.
