Took it easy and didn't push myself to walk too fast today. My weight has ballooned up and my jeans are fitting a little tighter than I'd like, but I suspect that's because that time of the month is approaching. Still trying to cut back on what I eat without starving myself. Doesn't help that I've got a yummy chocolate cake from my birthday to finish eup, but once that's gone - no more splurging! I've even cut down on my nightly ice cream dessert by using a small scoop. Been having 3, but starting tonight I'll cut it down to 2.
Anyway, the weather was perfect. Overcast, coolish (around 60) and a bit of a breeze. My legs didn't hurt until near the very end and even then it wasn't all that bad. Nothing like it's been in the past. I made sure to not tie my shoes so tight this morning. Gotta watch myself on that. But I have come to the conclusion that I've been pushing myself too hard during these walks. I won't be able to keep up the walking if I'm miserable and in pain all the time. I was tired near the end today, but I equate that with it being a week between walks. I'll try to walk the next 2 days using the same approach and see how things go.
