Got in a good walk this afternoon. It was sunny & warm, with temps in the upper 70s, but there was a nice breeze that helped keep me cool most of the time. Went nearly 3 miles! Woot! Not bad, considering I haven't walked in a couple of weeks. Just been so darned busy! Gah! Then we had that cool spell, too....*sigh* But there's only 2 months until VanCon and I've gotta shed some more pounds. Plus, like I told my mom today, this walking is also about building up endurance for that walk between hotels up in Vancouver. It's only 5 blocks up there, but it's up hills and down them, plus I'm usually in a hurry and hefting a heavy backpack. So I need to be prepared and used to walking for that.
